Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026 Last updated: May 1, 2026
PixelEven (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is designed with privacy as a default. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Summary
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
- Your artwork stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud account.
Data the app handles
Artwork and project files
Your projects, palettes, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you sign in to iCloud and enable iCloud sync, your projects sync through your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. We have no access to this data — it lives in your iCloud, governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases (PixelEven Pro)
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Apple shares only an anonymous receipt with the app to verify that a purchase occurred. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Diagnostic logs
The app writes lightweight event logs (e.g. when a paywall is shown, when a purchase completes) to the system log on your device using Apple’s os.Logger framework. These logs stay on your device and are not transmitted to us. They exist only to help diagnose issues if you choose to share a sysdiagnose with Apple or with us via support.
Crash reports
If you have opted in to “Share With App Developers” in your device’s privacy settings, Apple may send anonymized crash reports to us via App Store Connect. These reports do not include personal information.
Data we do not collect
- No name, email, or account information (the app has no user accounts).
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos library access beyond images you explicitly import.
- No advertising identifiers.
- No usage analytics sent to any server.
The app does not show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because it does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Children’s privacy
PixelEven does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.
Your rights
Because the app does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our servers. To remove all app data:
- Delete the app from your device — this removes local data.
- Manage iCloud data via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → PixelEven.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, surface a notice in the app.
