Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective date: August 24, 2026 · This document is also the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the ArtistiCo app.
These Terms are an agreement between you and Sude Hereklioğlu (founder of ArtistiCo), based in Türkiye (“ArtistiCo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the ArtistiCo app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use ArtistiCo.
Zero tolerance. ArtistiCo has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every post, comment, listing, community and message can be reported, every member can be blocked, and we review reports and remove violating content and the accounts responsible within 24 hours. See §6.
1. Who may use ArtistiCo
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use ArtistiCo only with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
- You must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law, and you must not have been previously removed from ArtistiCo.
- One person, one account. Do not create an account for someone else, do not impersonate anyone, and do not sell or transfer your account.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code, optionally with a password, or through Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address and for everything done through your account. Tell us at support@artisticoapp.com immediately if you think someone else has got in.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Manage Account → Delete account. It is deactivated at once and permanently deleted after 30 days; signing in during that window restores it.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. ArtistiCo claims no ownership of your artwork, photographs, writing, portfolio or any other content.
To be able to run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, re-encode, cache, display and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting within the app, and improving ArtistiCo. This licence exists so we can show your work to other members, generate thumbnails, and deliver files over a CDN. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except that:
- copies may persist briefly in backups and caches until they cycle out;
- we may retain material we are legally required to retain, or that is needed as evidence in an open moderation or legal matter.
We will not use your artwork in external advertising, sell it, license it to third parties, or use it to train machine learning models without asking you first.
You confirm that you own or have the rights to everything you post, and that posting it does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. Do not post other artists’ work as your own.
4. Rules of conduct
Do not post, send or do any of the following on ArtistiCo:
- Harassment or abuse — targeting, bullying, threatening, stalking or intimidating anyone.
- Hate speech — attacking or dehumanising people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Sexual content — pornography or sexually explicit material. Artistic nudity is permitted where it is genuinely artistic, clearly presented as such, and not sexually explicit; we decide where that line falls and our decision governs.
- Any sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or generated. This is reported to the authorities and the account is removed permanently and immediately.
- Violence — threats, incitement, glorification of violence or terrorism, or graphic gore.
- Illegal activity — trading in drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeits or stolen credentials.
- Self-harm — encouraging or instructing suicide, self-injury or eating disorders.
- Spam and manipulation — bulk unsolicited messages, engagement farming, fake accounts, bots, scraping, or artificially inflating follows or likes.
- Fraud — scams, phishing, fake job or commission listings, advance-fee schemes, or misrepresenting compensation on a listing.
- Impersonation — posing as another person, artist, brand or organisation.
- Privacy violations — publishing someone’s private information (address, phone number, ID, financial details) without their consent, or posting intimate images without consent.
- Infringement — posting content you do not have the rights to.
- Interference — attacking, reverse-engineering, overloading or circumventing the security or rate limits of the service, or using automated means to access it.
These rules apply to everything, including direct messages, community names, listings and your profile.
5. Listings, work and payments
ArtistiCo lets members publish listings for jobs, orders, equipment, venues and workshops, and contact each other about them. ArtistiCo is not a party to any agreement you reach with another member. We do not process payments, do not hold funds, do not act as an employment agency or broker, and do not verify that a listing is genuine, that work will be paid for, or that either side will perform.
You are responsible for your own due diligence, contracts, invoicing, taxes and any legal or professional obligations arising from work you find here. Be cautious: never pay a fee to be considered for work, and treat any request for money up front as a red flag. Report suspicious listings.
6. Reporting, moderation and enforcement
ArtistiCo operates a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive members.
- Report — every post, comment, listing, community, message and profile has a report control. Choose a reason and add a note. You can also email support@artisticoapp.com.
- Block — blocking a member removes them and their content from your feed, search, listings, inbox and notifications, and stops them contacting you.
- Our response — we review every report and act on violating content within 24 hours of it being reported, by removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or permanently removing the account responsible.
- Sanctions — depending on severity, we may remove content, limit an account’s reach, suspend it, or remove it permanently. Severe violations — sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence, coordinated fraud — result in immediate permanent removal without warning.
- Appeals — if you think we got it wrong, email support@artisticoapp.com within 30 days and a person will look at it again.
We may remove content or suspend an account without prior notice where the law requires it or where waiting would cause harm.
7. The app itself
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use the ArtistiCo app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use of the service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
ArtistiCo remains our property, including its name, logo, design and software. These Terms give you no rights in them.
8. Availability and changes
ArtistiCo is offered free of charge and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We will give reasonable notice of a material change or discontinuation where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use ArtistiCo after that means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, delete your account.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtistiCo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content posted by other members is accurate, lawful or genuine, or that any member is who they claim to be.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost work or lost opportunities, arising from your use of ArtistiCo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to 1,000 TRY.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer under Turkish Law No. 6502 or equivalent legislation where you live.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from content you posted, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using ArtistiCo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your conduct risks harm to other members or to the service. Sections 3 (licence tail), 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or Consumer Court where you live.
14. App store terms
You must also comply with the terms of the store you installed the app from.
Apple. This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims, nor for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Google. Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.
